(More customer reviews)I own a bunch of Birkenstock sandals... but these were a fabulous surprise. I have them in the Golden Brown which is really more like an antique bronze (very much the same color as the button that appears on the toe piece). It's a subtle metallic and in no way garish. A little more formal than plain brown but not vulgar like some golds can be.
Most of my Birkenstocks are the heavier looking sandals with multiple cross straps but these provide the SAME KIND OF SUPPORT without the heavy look. It's a much softer looking profile, better for skirts/dresses/shorts. And most surprising to me was the toe piece. It's very comfortable. (Typically this sort of style would drive me crazy.) As always, Birkenstock products are wonderfully comfortably, very durable and these, in particular, are VERY STYLISH.
If you were hesitating about buying these, don't worry. I'll be ordering more.
