From some of the reviews I read, I expected them to be at least pretty comfortable, but being on my feet for a few hours while wearing them proved me wrong. While there don't appear to be any specific material defects, they are firm and flat which means there's pretty much zero arch support. Also, the part that goes between your toes seemed to rub a lot. While these might be fine for sitting on the deck or for a short walk to get the mail, If you plan to spend any significant time standing or walking around, I'd really recommend something with cloth straps and a more molded shape. I have a pair of Chaco Flip Vibram Pros, which are way more expensive than these, but are definitely worth it if you're looking for something to wear long term.
