We got them when she was three, and had to get a second pair in case one shoe was hiding under the bed, in the laundry basket, where ever, so that she could always wear them. She has since "grown up" and we have cut the back strap off for the big four year old now and they still take a beating and keep on! These shoes have proven to be very durable and we have not had any problems with them breaking. Definately a Reef shopper now!
Oh, and our kids has chunky feet and they fit great!
