I bought them as "emergency" flip flops because I "needed" simple brown ones to go with my clothes while I was traveling, and Sports Chalet didn't have the Reef Ginger. It's my worst footwear investment ever. I kid you not: I walked around in khaki pants for about two miles, and the mere trailing of my pant hem across the top of the sandal straps caused wear and fray in that time! The two thin soles also separated at the toe during the first mile, which was beyond annoying because pebbles/rocks would continually get stuck in between them. Ugh! I repeat: These O'Neill sandals are hands down the WORST flip flops I have EVER bought. This includes everything from cheapo $2 Target flip flops (FYI, those $2 flip flops lasted 300-400x as long [i.e. an entire season] and at 1/11 of the price tag on the O'Neils) to my beloved Reef Gingers. O'Neill, what an awful product! Step up your game, or at least charge a price appropriate to value. Based on calculations from my $2 Target flip flops, I estimate $0.005. Hmph!
