(More customer reviews)I bought these to have a comfy easy-on, easy-off shoe to wear through airports and in casual surroundings. For that, they're very nice. I can be out of them in a second and through airport security. On international flights, they're perfect for trips to the lavatory without a lot of fuss. Walking between terminals, they're fine. While I wouldn't dream of wearing them into the boardroom, I found myself whisked away to a late-night samba bar in Brazil and didn't worry about what my footwear looked like.
Sizewise, I'd suggest going up and not down. Normally, I'm a 7.5 to 8 in US men's sizes and these 8's are definitely snug on me. They stretched after a while, but still feel just a bit tight. After about a month of almost daily wear, the stitching around the top is beginning to fray. But, they cost $35, not $100, so I'm not expecting years of daily use from them.
Remember, they're a sandal with an upper and not a sporting shoe. There is no arch support. Don't expect to play a pickup ball game in them or hike ten miles in high summer. I'd buy them a second time for what they are--an inexpensive, reasonably comfortable, casual shoe.
