(More customer reviews)This is my first pair of Tevas, and I am not disappointed. I have mostly worn cheap no-name sandals in the past, and I notice a huge difference in both the comfort and quality of these sandals.
I was originally going to get a sportier looking pair, but when I laid eyes on these I knew I wanted them instead. They are rugged enough for my jetty fishing and mountain-rampaging shenanigans, but go well with other clothes when dressed a little more..."casual-urban."
The soles have a noticeable springiness to them, and are extremely comfortable. The insoles have a sort of velvet/suede feel that I like. They also just happen to fit like a glove.
I've noticed shoe sizes tend to vary a bit between manufactures, but I ordered 10.5, and they seem to be dead-on with what I consider to be a proper 10.5 size shoe. I rarely give 5 stars unless something exceeds my expectations, and this gets a 5!
Update: it's been 2 years and a few months, and I've pretty much worn them everyday (I use them at least as house slippers daily, even if I didn't wear them out that day). They have seen a lot of adventures (including lots of water exposure) and rough treatment and are still perfectly intact. Amazing build quality. One thing I will point out is the springiness I mentioned doesn't last forever. The soles will flatten a bit over time. I noticed it in one sandal before the other, and it felt kinda weird, but nothing too bad. They have both lost their springiness at this point in time, but they are still quite comfortable without it. I still give it 5 stars, and will be buying another pair when these become too ratty to wear. Teva CSRs, if you're reading this: Please don't change or discontinue these, unless it's to improve the longevity of the soles' bounciness!

For casual--or more adventurous--activities, the Fossil Canyon sandal from Teva has a lot to offer. The full-grained leather upper is water-resistant and the microfiber-covered footbed wicks moisture away--plus it's treated with an anti-bacterial agent to prevent odor. The heel features a Shock Pad for better energy distribution and greater shock-absorbency. With three points of adjustability, it's a breeze to slip on and off, but thanks to the anatomically molded footbed, you may not want to.
